Town of Farmington is located in Waupaca County which was established February 17, 1851 by an act of legislature. In 1853 the County Board organized the Township of Farmington which now has a population of 3957, Equalized Value of 456,470,800, with 77.32 miles of town roads.
Farmington has so much to offer from its Rural farming heritage to the beautiful Chain of Lakes. The Chain O Lakes has 22 connected bodies of water. They are called the "Killarney's of America" Many family memories are created each summer, as thousands of tourists, friends, and families enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Chain of Lakes. If thats not enough, Farmington is also the home of Hartman Creek State Park. This State park has camping sites, walking, horseback, and bike trails for everyone to enjoy. Finally, Farmington also offers some of the best whitetail deer hunting in the United States.
