Cats

The Town of Farmington has studied "cat issues" since 2010, researched other townships, talked with humane officers, and concluded that if a person were to provide food and/or shelter to a stray cat, that person becomes the "keeper" of that cat and assumes responsibility for said cat. The Town Board policy is to abide by that statement. Contracts with the Waupaca County Sheriff Department and the DNR concur as they do not regulate these cats and will not pick them up if found on resident property.
